Cynthia Johnson is an African American singer, best known as the lead singer of the band Lipps Inc. with the disco hit "Funkytown".
Cynthia Johnson is an American singer, songwriter, saxophonist, producer and actress, whose international career took off with the smash-hit Funkytown. Her unmistakable vocal talent has brought her widespread recognition across the globe and has been featured in many successfull movies and advertising campaigns of large multinational companies.
Since 2012 Cynthia Johnson is under exclusive management with Megabien Entertainment. Currently, Johnson is working with Megabien Entertainment on a new solo album that will be produced by Grammy Award winning producer Mark Howard and is expected to be released end of 2013.
