At the age of 14, George Michael inspired Mourad when he heard him for the first time on the radio. This was the key moment in Mourad’s life when he decided to make the pursuit of passion his life’s work.
Author, composer & interpretive singer, Mourad studied for several years and the National Institute of Music in Nancy and also in London, England.
Several big tours in France and abroad served to show the magic of Mourad’s spectacular musical gift to hundreds of thousands of spectators with his endearing sensitivity, clarity of voice and depth of emotion that left none of the fans indifferent, and earned the respect of all his colleagues.
Mourad’s compositions reflect the depth of his personality, very touching and heartfelt.
He displays a strong mix of strength and sensitivity as well as intimacy and tenderness. Numerous collaborations have included such prestigous artists such as Lee John of the band “Imagination”, Jonathan Dassin the son of JOE, and some others such as: DANKO, ANTON, and VIKA MAKARSKI.
He is one of the few French artists to have been honored at the Kremlin in Moscow for his work on improving the relationships and friendship between two countries through his artistry and music.
He was pre-selected to represent France in 2009 for the “EuroVision” contest in Moscow with Patricia Kaas.
